We are happy to announce the Buildroot support for the 'M'-products. In a first step MCV on MCVEVP and MA5D4 on MA5D4EVK are supported. The Buildroot support for the 'M'-products is available on GitHub.

Today the meta-aries Yocto layer was updated. This layer provides support for ARIES Embedded Mxx SoM and Mxx EVK for OE-core/Yocto 2.4 (rocko).

The following boards are supported:

• M28EVK
• M53EVK
• MCVEVK and MCVEVP
• MA5D4EVK

The meta-aries layer is available for download on GitHub.

Designed to support MAX10 FPGA based SoMs the Spiderboard Baseboard is available as a low cost, flexible platform which enables user to setup a running system in a very short time. This baseboard has a extended prototype area and is based on the free and open design concept: required KiCAD design files are available under CERN OHL v1.2.

Currently the Spiderboard Baseboard features the MX10 SoMs . More information is available on the respective product page.

ARIES Embedded was appointed as Reseller for the Pmod modules by Digilent Inc.

Pmod interface or Peripheral Module interface is an open standard defined by Digilent Inc in the Digilent Pmod™ Interface Specification for peripherals used with FPGAs or microcontrollers. Several types of modules are available from simple push buttons to more complex modules with network interfaces, analog to digital converters or LCD displays. These modules can be used with a variety of FPGA or micro-controller development boards from different vendors.

Intel discontinues its Edison products according to media. Contact us to implement possible replacements based on the compatible i.MX6UL/i.MX7/i.MX6 PICO-SoMs and Linux. 

Recently, as part of Google’s next Developer Preview release of Android Things, a new Board Support Package will be added for the Pico board powered by the NXP i.MX 7Dual applications processor.

Additionally, this latest release will include support for the Google Assistant SDK enabling developers to embed the Google Assistant voice services within their devices based on the i.MX7Dual.
