ARIES Embedded presented its new M6UL System-on-Module as the drop-in replacement of one of the most reliable SoM solutions – M28. The new M6UL module is based on the i.MX 6UltraLite processor by NXP, which ensures its advanced hardware-enabled security features, low power and cost sensitivity for industrial applications. The MX10 System on Module, based on Intel® MAX® 10 FPGAs, offers a scalable solution to use in fast prototyping or mass production projects. The MX10 incorporates advantages of MAX 10 FPGA such as instant-on functionality (non-volatile), integrated analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and dual configuration flash. The module delivers full-featured FPGA capabilities including support for various soft-core CPUs, advanced DSP and video-processing algorithms as well as a DDR3 controller. On the software side U-Boot and full-fledged Linux complement the hardware.
